Description

Produced between 1994 and 2001, the 7 Series E38 was not designed for smartphone connectivity. This head unit completely transforms the onboard multimedia system by bringing Android Auto and Apple CarPlay to a slot previously occupied by a much older unit. The rest of the vehicle, comfort electronics, engine, and climate control, is not modified.

The head unit fits in the original slot and connects to the existing wiring harness.

The E38 dashboard had several configurations depending on market and equipment level, particularly regarding built-in navigation or phone. Verify that your version is listed in the compatibility table on the page before ordering.
