Day to day, the X4 G02 fitted with this box lets you mirror your smartphone screen directly into iDrive via Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. The factory functions, BMW navigation, and audio system are not replaced.

The connection is made at the factory head unit connector, with no screen removal or wiring modification.

The X4 G02 was sold between 2018 and 2025. Over that period, CarPlay may have been offered as an option or included as standard depending on the market and model year. Make sure your vehicle does not already have it before ordering. Consult the compatibility table on the page.
