Description

A worn spring or broken guide is enough to render the front cup holder drawer unusable on the X5 E70. This replacement mechanism restores proper operation of the system without touching the center console, ventilation vents, or the rest of the dashboard equipment.

The faulty drawer is removed from its housing by disassembling the relevant panel, then the replacement mechanism is fitted into the same mounting points.
