Description

The start/stop deactivation button is accessible on the A4 B8, but its effect does not carry over from one startup to the next. This module works at the level of that switch to retain the desired state and automatically apply the deactivation at the next ignition cycle. The dashboard, engine management, and assistance systems are not involved.

The connection is made at the existing button connector, with no dashboard disassembly and no permanent wiring modification.
