In gloss black, these mirror caps change the appearance of the mirror as seen from outside the vehicle and, depending on the body color, either contrast with it or blend in. On the X3 G01, the mirror glass, adjustments, and any side sensors are not affected by this replacement.

Installation is done by clipping onto the original housing, with no need to remove the glass or perform any electrical work.
