The sunroof on the W164 is controlled from inside the cabin by this switch, and this part covers vehicles produced between 2005 and 2011. It replaces the original button without touching the sunroof motor or the existing wiring.

Replacement consists of unclipping the switch from its housing, typically located in the headliner, then connecting the original wiring harness to the new part.
