Description

This head unit replaces the original unit in the dashboard of the 5 Series E39 and brings Android Auto and Apple CarPlay where no such connectivity previously existed. The mechanics, comfort electronics, and other vehicle equipment are not modified.

The unit installs in place of the original head unit, occupying the same slot in the center console, and connects to the existing wiring harness.

Before ordering, verify the exact configuration of your dashboard, as several versions coexisted on the E39 depending on model year and trim level. Check the compatibility table on the page to confirm fitment with your specific vehicle.
