BMW X2 Buttons and Controls

The X2 embraces a bold design: compact coupe SUV, sloping roofline, inverted badge on the C-pillar. Personalizing BMW X2 buttons and controls extends that sport spirit into every cockpit detail, from the center console to the door panels.

From 29,00 € to 39,00 € depending on the finish.

The chassis code is on your vehicle registration document. It alone determines compatibility: two vehicles of the same model may not take the same parts depending on their year and phase.

Personalizing the X2 interior down to every control

The X2 relies on a strong visual identity that carries through to the interior: driver-focused instrumentation, a tight console, sport atmosphere. M-look or modernized buttons let you unify that cockpit without touching the bodywork or making any structural changes.

On a daily-driven vehicle, the most frequently used controls -- driver window, mirror adjustment, tunnel commands -- show wear quickly. Replacing these parts restores a clean look to high-contact areas and maintains a consistent driving environment over time.

Choosing your BMW X2 buttons and controls: F39 or F49?

Two generations are covered here: the F39 (first generation) with two available part numbers, and the F49 (second generation) with one dedicated part number. These two versions do not share the same console architecture or the same connectors: a control designed for the F39 is not compatible with the F49, and vice versa. Check your generation on your vehicle registration before confirming your choice; the chassis code removes all doubt.

The usual criteria apply from there: target installation area, whether the button integrates built-in functions (seat heating, drive mode, defrost), and backlight consistency with the rest of the console. Also check whether your X2 is the M35i or standard version, as factory equipment may differ and determine the exact shape of the module.

Does a replacement X2 driver door control panel also control the rear windows?

On most X2 versions, the driver panel does include centralized control of all windows. The front passenger panel generally controls only the window on that side. The product listing always specifies the position covered (front left, front right), which prevents ordering the wrong module. If in doubt, note the code engraved or printed on the back of your original button before placing your order.
