In the Sprinter W906, this head unit replaces the factory unit to integrate Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Unlike an interface box, the entire multimedia fascia is replaced and the center console appearance is changed. The vehicle’s mechanical systems and bodywork are not affected.

Removing the factory head unit comes first, followed by installing this new unit in the freed slot.
