Mercedes-Benz A-Class Grilles
The A-Class has changed a great deal from one generation to the next, but its character has stayed the same: compact, sharp, built for those who do not do things halfway. The Mercedes-Benz A-Class grilles offered here personalize the front end without going through a body shop. The result speaks for itself.

The chassis code is on your vehicle registration document. It alone determines compatibility: two vehicles of the same model may not take the same parts depending on their year and phase.

Giving the A-Class the visual identity of the sportier versions
The A-Class has never been a discreet car, and that is precisely why its owners choose it. The front grille, framed by the headlights and the bumper, is the visual centerpiece of the front end. Swapping the standard grille for a slim-bar or dense-mesh version immediately brings the car closer to the AMG codes that dress the most sporting versions of the lineup. The three-pointed star stays in place, but the frame around it shifts registers.
The front end of the W176 and that of the W177 share this compact, taut spirit, but their lines are not identical. A reworked grille accentuates the apparent width of the bumper and gives the whole front end a stronger presence, without touching the paint or any other bodywork.
W176 or W177: choosing your Mercedes-Benz A-Class grilles by generation
The five available references cover the two recent generations of the A-Class: the W176 (three references) and the W177 (two references). These two generations have distinct front-end shapes, and the parts are not interchangeable. Before ordering, note the chassis code in field D.2 of your registration document: it is the only reliable way to confirm compatibility.
The dominant style leans toward horizontal bars, echoing the standard A 45 AMG grilles, and toward fine mesh, closer to custom builds. Some references include the mounting point for the center badge directly; others leave the original badge in place.
Does an aftermarket grille fit an A-Class AMG Line as standard?
AMG Line A-Class models already have a specific front grille with a particular treatment depending on the model year. The grilles offered here are designed to replace the original grille regardless of the car's factory equipment: the mounting is identical, only the look changes. Still, check the generation (W176 or W177), as the bumper cutout differs between the two.
