BMW 2 Series Headlights and Lights

The 2 Series is a coupe built for those who refuse to choose between daily use and sporting character. Its BMW 2 Series lights play a direct role in that identity: a taut silhouette, a sharp look, optical units that bridge the F22 coupes and the M2 in the current lineup.

From 49,00 € to 179,00 € depending on the finish. Available finishes: led.

The chassis code is on your vehicle registration document. It alone determines compatibility: two vehicles of the same model may not take the same parts depending on their year and phase.

Lighting as an extension of the 2 Series sporting character

The 2 Series relies on a muscular silhouette and a look you recognize immediately in traffic. Replacing the front or rear lights means sharpening that character without changing a single body line. On F22 coupes, blackout housings and LED rings fit naturally into the M Performance aesthetic, with its deliberately dark contrasts. On G42 and G87 generations, the light signature is already more prominent from the factory, and replacement units allow you to push personalization even further.

Which BMW 2 Series lights fit your chassis?

The starting point is your chassis code: F22, F87, G42 or G87, depending on whether you have a first-generation coupe or a current M2. The lights are designed specifically for each body style, and a part made for an F22 will not fit a G42. This code appears on your vehicle registration, field D.2.

On the nature of the lights, the usual criteria apply: blackout or silver housing for visual ambiance, integrated sequential turn signal or not, and rear LED signature for consistency with other modifications already completed. If you are moving from a halogen to an LED unit, check your vehicle's wiring -- some chassis require a decoder to prevent error messages.

Are the headlights from an F22 coupe interchangeable with those of an F87 M2?

No. Although these two chassis share a common base, the body styles differ on specific points. The F87 M2 has wider wheel arches and a specific front bumper that does not accept the same lights as the F22. Always refer to the exact chassis code to confirm your choice and avoid a compatibility issue upon delivery.
