BMW 2 Series Paddle Shifters
Two doors, a clear-cut personality, a promise of committed driving: the 2 Series fully owns its sporting character. BMW 2 Series paddle shifters go in that direction, bringing gear changes back to the steering wheel itself. The gear selector stays where it is, but you decide when to shift.
From 59,00 € to 139,00 € depending on the finish. Available finishes: aluminum, carbon.
The chassis code is on your vehicle registration document. It alone determines compatibility: two vehicles of the same model may not take the same parts depending on their year and phase.

Paddle shifters on the 2 Series: the natural extension of an engaged drive
The 2 Series (coupe or convertible) has always been the BMW compact that refuses to compromise on driving pleasure. Paddle shifters fit naturally into that profile: they let you manage gears without releasing the wheel, anticipate braking at corner entry, and pick the right RPM on the way out. What racing drivers do instinctively, you can do too, on every drive.
The effect on your driving is real: you become more aware of engine speed, more precise with your throttle inputs, and the connection to the mechanics comes through even on a non-M-badged version. That is exactly the engagement BMW highlights on its M Performance models, accessible here through a simple addition to your steering wheel.
Choosing the right paddle shifters for your 2 Series: F22 or G42?
Two platforms are represented in this selection: the F22 (first-generation 2 Series) and the G42 (second-generation 2 Series, based on the CLAR platform shared with the G20). These two chassis have different steering columns and wheel hubs, with two references available for each. Paddle shifters are not interchangeable between chassis: selecting the correct reference is essential.
To identify your generation without any ambiguity, check field E2 on your vehicle registration: the chassis prefix is listed there and removes all doubt. That is the reflex to develop before purchasing any steering-wheel-specific part.
Do aftermarket BMW 2 Series paddle shifters plug into the factory connector?
In the vast majority of cases, yes. Paddle shifters designed for the 2 Series use the connection points already provided on the factory steering column. They do not require modifying the existing wiring or intervening in the transmission electronics. The signal sent by the paddle is interpreted by the gearbox exactly as if it came from a factory-fitted control.
Free shipping is included, and every order is prepared after compatibility with your 2 Series generation has been verified.
