Description

On the R231, this interface module gives you access to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay without affecting the convertible top, driver assistance systems, or any other vehicle-specific onboard systems. Only the multimedia software layer is enhanced; the factory head unit stays in place.

The connection is made directly to the factory head unit connectors, with no removal of the unit required.

The R231 was offered with several generations of Comand or Audio 20 systems depending on the model year and options. Verify that the version installed in your vehicle is listed in the compatibility table on this page before placing your order.
