The GLE W166 represents the previous generation of the GLE; this carbon steering wheel is referenced for this series and does not fit the X167 that replaced it. The part changes the interior appearance without affecting the steering or the underlying mechanical and electronic systems.

Removing the factory steering wheel involves disconnecting the battery, followed by pulling the wheel from its hub, before fitting this part.
