Specific to the Mercedes-Benz GLS X166, this Start & Stop button should not be confused with the reference intended for the GLE W166. It replaces a worn original button and restores the factory appearance of the center console without affecting the Start & Stop system or its wiring.

Removal is done by accessing the button from the center console; the original connector is reconnected to the new part, which fits in the same location.
