The Start & Stop button is one of the most visible elements on the Golf 7 dashboard: it starts and shuts off the engine. This replacement part restores its function without modifying the steering column, the immobilizer system, or any other dashboard controls.

Replacement is done by removing the original button from its housing and inserting the new one, keeping the existing electrical connector.
