Description

On the E82 and E87 generations of the 1 Series, produced between 2004 and 2011, this replacement shift knob changes the appearance of the gear lever without affecting the gearbox mechanics or any wiring. Only what your hand touches with each gear change is different.

Removing the old shift knob and installing the new one is done by screwing or unscrewing, depending on the mounting system in place.

Verify that your 1 Series is equipped with a manual transmission before ordering, as this shift knob is not designed for an automatic transmission. Your vehicle must also correspond to the E82 or E87 body styles: check the compatibility table on the page to confirm coverage for your version.
