Replacing the original caps with gloss black parts changes the color of the mirrors regardless of the Q3’s body color. That is the only modification made: the electric adjustment and any other mirror functions remain unchanged. The finish is solid, with no texture.
Installation is done by removing the existing cap and clipping the new one onto the housing.
This part is limited to Q3 models from 2012 to 2015. Verify that your vehicle falls within this range by checking the compatibility table on the page. If your caps are already black from the factory, there will be no visual change.
